Sonido Gallo Negro

Sonido Gallo Negro is a leading act on the Mexican music scene, active for over 16 years, reinterpreting the roots of psychedelic tropical music through an immersive sonic and visual experience. Guitars, eccentric organs, analog synthesizers and theremin shape a lysergic sound, enhanced by hypnotic live visuals created by Dr. Alderete.

With five studio albums, one live album and numerous collaborations, the band has toured more than 20 countries, establishing itself as one of the most representative independent projects from Mexico City. Their career includes major references, from Alfonso Cuarón’s Roma to a global Apple campaign, as well as performances on the main stages of major international festivals.
